Hello!
I’m having trouble getting my head around the fact that April is halfway over and The Firefly Summer comes out in TWO WEEKS? A mere FORTNIGHT?! What the actual heck??
In very nice news, the book was picked to be on the IndieNext list! As a former bookseller at an indie (helloooo Vroman’s! Best college job ever) this truly means so much to me.
With the book release getting ever closer, I’ll have lots of fun stuff to announce! Like…my TOUR DATES!!
I cannot WAIT to be back on the road, getting to meet readers and chat with you guys and sign books for you! At all stops, I’ll be happy to sign The Firefly Summer, as well as my YA titles!
Hooray! I’m so excited.
Also! If you can’t make it to one of my events but would still like a personalized book, you can pre-order one HERE!
Here’s more information about each of the tour stops:
Yallwest
Saturday, April 29th. Santa Monica High School.
I’m thrilled to be doing the Middle Grade keynote with Angie Thomas! Tickets for the keynote can be found here!
LA launch!
Because I’m usually already on tour when my book comes out, I haven’t launched a book locally since…maybe Amy & Roger? So I’m thrilled to be able to launch The Firefly Summer in LA! I’ll be in conversation with my pal and amazing author Stu Gibbs! More info can be found here!
Meet me in St. Louis!
(Come on, you knew I was going to make that joke.)
I hope I can see you there! Please note that this event is through The Novel Neighbor, but it will be held at the St. Charles City-County Library! Totally free, and you can register here!
Rehoboth Beach
If you’re around the Delaware area, I’d love to see you! Information can be found here!
You’ve got a friend in Pennsylvania
I’m so thrilled to be finishing the tour with a PA stop, since 95% of The Firefly Summer takes place in the Pocono Mountains in Pennsylvania. All details here!
And I think that’s all the news for now. I hope to see you! It’s the first time I’ve toured since 2018, for Save the Date, and I’m so happy to be out on the road again. In the meantime, here’s a picture of Murphy looking much more excitable than usual…
xoxo
